Finding your Inner Angel Part Three
More ideas about a spiritual journey
When you investigate yourself as a fully functional inter-dimensional creature, you can begin to move energy around in your own physical body. Each new experience, new concepts and insights alter the way the energy streams into and out of your body. Energy centres can open up, develop and alter the physical body, sometimes in an uncomfortable way. In a spiritual learning process there are some physical symptoms that may trouble us.
Muscle twitches, cramps or spasms.
Energy rushes or immense electricity circulating the body
Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling sensations
Intense heat or cold
Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation, rest or sleep): jerking, tremors, shaking;
Feeling an inner force pushing one into postures or moving one’s body in unusual ways,
Alterations in eating and sleeping patterns,
Episodes of extreme hyperactivity or, conversely, overwhelming fatigue
Intensified or diminished sexual desires
Bruised feelings on the scalp
Digestive system problems
Numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the left foot and leg)
Pains and blockages anywhere; often in the back and neck
Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression
Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping),
Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating
Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous trance states; mystical experiences (if the individual’s prior belief system is too threatened by these, they can lead to bouts of psychosis or self-grandiosity)
Ecstasy and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and compassion
Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body experiences; past life memories; astral travel; direct awareness of auras and energy centres; contact with spirit guides through inner voices, dreams or visions; healing powers.
Many of these symptoms can also be indications of physical problems that need medical attention, so discretion needs to be used…..
Your journey is unique to you. It took me a long time to realise that nobody else in my life was interested in what was happening to me – they were doing their own stuff, which was more real and clear to them than anything I could say. Your experiences are unique and personal – sometimes the power in secret experience is squandered if you share it or discuss it. It is there to assist your observer-self on its journey of enlightenment. It deepens your understanding of what others are saying. Lobsam Rampa said in one of his books “While you are talking, you are not listening!” I did a lot of talking and very little listening. Those who didn’t understand laughed behind my back and those who understood – listened!
My angel took me to the Halls of Healing full of the most exquisite colour and light I have ever seen and completely indescribable in words. It was housed in a white domed building of a specific shape. Once when I was listening and not talking I heard someone else describe these Halls exactly as I had seen them. It was a quiet inner confirmation that these things were not my own personal construction. It built up inner confidence.
Another time, I had been lying on my healing bed in my colour room at The Place of Angels when suddenly I saw what seemed to be a huge stadium filled with old motorcars of every kind. I noticed one especially that was bright yellow.
A few days later a heard an exclamation from someone else on the bed whom I was treating in the light. “Oh, my goodness!” she said. “I have just seen the most curious thing in my mind’s eye.” And she described what I had seen down to the very same bright yellow car.
Some modern books on astral travelling suggest that we make our own experiences through the power of our imagination. I disagree. All the realms and dimensions are held in place by the group of consciousnesses that live in them. We are able to share them as they share ours.
What to leave out
When you start on an adventure to find your own Angels, you need to be prepared to leave out all the pre-programming you have had from any specific Religion or belief system. Any ceremony, dogma, creed, ritual is not necessary to your experience but can be a way of focusing it. It is not necessary to meditate at three o’clock in the morning for three hours. It is not necessary to be a vegetarian. It is not necessary to cross your legs or sit on the floor in yoga posture. It is not necessary to have a living master, a dead master, an ascended master – any master. It is not necessary to ring bells, burn incense, breathe properly, wear crystals, chakra beads, go into trances, chant, say mantras, face east. None of these things are necessary. The only necessary thing is your own intention. “Ask and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you” This is a spiritual principle that applies to all of us.
Some of the most unhappy, depressed and ill people are sometimes those who’s personal self discipline in trying to follow dogma, creed and ritual, eradicates in them the joy and delight of being human, the pleasure of eating, the happiness of celebration, the wonder of sex, the delight in being foolish, the craziness of play. We are already spiritual creatures. We are not humans trying to be spiritual.
Kinds of guidance
Our intention brings to us the kinds of experiences we have. Spiritualists contact departed souls. If we sit in nature with the intention to communicate with or discern the spirit of Nature – we will. If we ask for a teacher – that’s what we’ll get – ask for references! If we wish to meet our guides, we can. If we call for a big Red Indian to help us carry a heavy thing – he will come. If we believe that Jesus is our highest being – he will manifest in our lives. If we believe our higher self is our guide and loving teacher – that will be the way.
Some teachings imply that our higher self is all these things and that believing in anything other is somehow backward. I disagree. The old ego has trouble admitting that we live in a place where there are greater and lesser beings and that we might be lesser! Realms and hierarchies exist where conscious streams far finer than our soul selves flow. I fear that if we believe we are all that is we’ll be like the little boy who was showing off his bicycle riding to his mother. On the first fly past he yelled “Look ma, no hands!” and on the second he yelled “Look, ma, no teeth!”
So, finding angels is easy – just ask for them to be near and they will. They will demonstrate their presence by how you feel. You will receive moments of grace designed specially for you.
Communicating psychically is more difficult – it is hard to sieve out what are your own thoughts and what is telepathic. Inspiration is usually uplifting and loving while our own subconscious mind is often negative. If you feel the words coming to you are clearly, surprisingly not your own, ask for references and use your discernment. Your angel will have moral principles and a code of ethics.
So to summarise –
- We all have an ability to work as multi-dimensional creatures
- It is possible to interact with invisible dimensions of earth and foreign dimensions
- We need to choose our inter-dimensional friends with care.
- The lower dimensions are protected by the laws of cause and effect
- Work from within the “bubble”
- Practise meditation
- Interaction with another conscious stream will feel “different”, “new”, “interesting”
- Practise inspired writing
- Record dreams and moments of grace in a diary
- If you become overwhelmed – stop it
- Be aware of physical body shifts and changes
- Don’t share too freely
- Do everything in moderation
- Your personal experiences are tailor made for you – the coat is cut according to the cloth of where you are right now
How do you find you own angel, then?
