Are we all the same?

This was a lovely piece by Atreya     Are we all the same?

The inner glow is the same regardless of the form covering it. That glow is the One Source in all and is constant. Since forms are so diverse how can you say that all is one? Imagine a power strip. Lets plug a TV, radio, microwave, refrigerator, and lap top into it. These forms have very different functions and appear totally unrelated. What is the most vital and common factor?  The electricity. Without the power source each form is useless. This Source is the only real factor because the forms are dependent on it, yet the Source is not dependent on the forms. In stillness, you can experience this Source in yourself-The One. Stillness does not mean no thought. It means that you remain still, fixed and uninvolved as thought happens.  If you go far enough you will realize that you are The Source, and the ego (who you think you are) is the non vital form. Therefore, to see diversity is ignorance. To experience yourself in all things, times and places, is wisdom.
